BJC 2010: Day 2 was fine and today it's time for Berlin Open

Weather is awesome. Great atmosphere. And more players arriving. Today is the day of the contest. Let's see how that goes.

BJC 2010: The convention has started

Yesterday was the first day of the convention and we had a great time. Players from Germany, Italy, Poland, and Finland were there to throw and drink. It was awesome.

Tomorrow Pac will be arriving in Kuala Lumpur.

Pac will be arriving in less than 25 hours all the way from Dusseldorf to Singapore and eventually arriving in KL. I've haven't seen him since I left Prague for Budapest last year and can't wait to have some fun with him until AP!

Today I'm going to Dimi's house

Since it is quite far away, I won't get there until tomorrow evening. I am still insanely excited, since I'm going to see Dimi again and because I haven't left Europe since August 2001 and I have never been to Asia in my life and I'm going to be at AP in two weeks!

the vienna-berlin-connection

it's ok to be half an hour late for work (even though you really promised to be on time), if you had one of the best yoyomeetings the night before.

we had a special burninberlin meet for coyote from vienna, austria. he's visiting berlin and we've known each other from way back when. he definitely made the meeting very special. we had soo much fun!!

a lot of string rocking, yoyo talk, loads of beer and a doener at kotti after 1am! that's the good life!! :D

another highlight was dennis showing up with pablito. two awesome guys. pablo liked the meeting a lot, too, and will most probably be at more meetings in the future.

the only sad part is that we had so much fun, we forgot to take pictures.

i just have to say: .AT KNOWS HOW TO PARTY!!

i fell in love with so many people this weekend

uk nationals is a fantastic event!!

i will not even try to mention everything and everyone making this weekend one of the best in my life. so many players, so many styles and such great people. all of them! and i didn't even get to talk to everyone.

i made contact with four more yoyonations this weekend:

there was the kid from norway (simon i believe) and i didn't even realize until after the contest. already a good player with a bright future, if you ask me.

then there was rushka from latvia. what a guy! only 16 and made his way to uknats all by himself. that's dedication! we didn't talk much, but definitely another awesome yoyo personality from the baltics. watch out for him at upcoming events. i know i will.

and boy was i stoked when i met gavin the day before the contest. my first chinese player!! i couldn't stop touching him. :D great guy and just starting out, he's already tackling 2A and 5A. there's more in store. and he's taking a trophy back to china.

last but not at all least, there was corli. just wow! boy, is she a little bundle of awesomeness. not only skill, but an insane amount of style. so soft and round. and not at all girly. she is hardcore and getting better every day. won sports ladder like it was nothing. and she's krisztian's girl, so she has a very good private teacher. ;)

i can't wait for the next uk event. there's two coming up for 2010: eyym and uknats!! i can only advise every player out there to do their very best to make it to london for at least one of those events. it is going to be fantastic.

rage and crackout from ilyy, being the only germans beside me at the event

paul paulini, wasn't at the contest, but made it to the pub for the preparty
